Getting started — Pro features
Statistics
Overview › Statistics (Pro): revenue actually collected, top offers, occupancy by resource, CSV exports.
Automatic deposit
Bookings › Payments (Pro), "Automatic deposit, by offer": give each offer the share of the price paid at booking (for example 30), and the number of days before the start at which the balance is due. Every booking made online for that offer then gets its deposit and balance schedule by itself: the visitor pays the deposit when booking (the form tells them), and the balance has its own payment link and due date. You choose the deposit, never the visitor; leave it empty or at 100 for an offer paid in full. Bookings entered by hand are not affected. It needs VEFmultiBooking (Free) 0.24.3 or later.
Installment payments
Bookings › Payments (Pro): search for a booking by its number to create a deposit + balance, a split payment schedule, or a one-off payment request. Each installment has its own payment link.
Waitlist and groups
The "VEF Pro Waitlist" block/module/widget lets your customers join the waitlist of a full offer. The Groups and Waitlist (Pro) tab of the Bookings page manages the participants and payment split of a group booking.
Advanced pricing
Catalog › Pricing (Pro): create rules based on season, occupancy or duration, and promo codes. A "fixed price" rule replaces the base price; discounts stack.
The "fixed price per person" effect multiplies its value by the number of persons (for an offer priced per night, by persons and nights). A period can repeat every year: only the day and the month count, so a single rule covers a season for every coming year, including one that crosses the end of the year.
When you have named your seasons (Catalog › Seasons), a list above the dates of a rule fills them in for you; the dates stay editable, and changing a season later does not change a rule already saved. The set-up guide points to this screen at its Prices step.
In the Simple display (bar at the top of every page), the optional fields of the rule and promo code forms are hidden, never removed; a field that is filled in stays in view. The Simple / Advanced switch is at the top of each form.
Promo codes
Catalog › Pricing (Pro), "Promo codes": when you create a code you choose whether it is global ("All offers") or made for one or more offers ("Only these offers", then tick them). In the booking form a Promo code field appears next to the price of each offer: the visitor types a code for that offer and presses Apply, and the price shows the discount at once; with several offers in the cart, each offer has its own code. A code works if it is active, inside its validity dates, under its usage limit and above its minimum amount. The table lists each code with what it applies to, and can be filtered by code, by global codes or by offer, and by status; "Switch off" stops a code without deleting it, and "New code for this offer" appears when the table is filtered on an offer.
Automations
Settings › Automations (Pro): create reminders before arrival or before a payment due date, or schedule a one-off email for a specific booking.
Pricing rules, promo codes and reminder rules can be edited and duplicated. A copy is created inactive so that it never applies, or sends a reminder, before you have checked and activated it.
Appearance
The Pro widgets follow your theme and the Style tab (font, heading sizes, accent and button colors, corner roundness, spacing, field style, shadows, button shadow) exactly like the free widgets. In Gutenberg, Divi 5 and Elementor, each widget also offers the same appearance, color and shadow settings for itself alone, with the result shown at once; a setting left on "Site default" follows the Style tab.
Customer portal
Add the "VEF Pro Portal" block/module/widget to a page: your customers access their bookings there with no account or password, via a link received by email.
Payment link page
Add the "VEF Pro Payment" block/module/widget to a page: it displays the installment a customer has to pay when they open a payment link, with the Stripe and PayPal buttons.
License and updates
About › Licenses and versions: enter your license key, re-check it or release it from this site (to move it to another site). Signed updates are detected automatically; installing them stays manual unless you tick the automatic installation box. Any previously published version can be reinstalled in one click.
