Pricing rules
A rule changes the price of an offer (or of all the offers) when its conditions are met. The conditions you fill in must ALL be true: dates, days of the week, number of persons, who comes (at least N adults and M children, for a family rate), number of nights. Leave a condition empty to ignore it.
- Fixed price — replaces the base price with this amount.
- Fixed price per person — replaces the base price with this amount for each person (and for each night when the offer is priced per night).
- Discount in % / fixed discount / increase in % — applied on top, in priority order (the lowest number first); they stack.
The base price itself can already change with the season: see "Prices and seasons" on the Offers screen. Use the rules for discounts, family rates or long-stay discounts.
Seasons and nights
Give a rule a period and tick "Repeat every year": only the day and the month of the two dates count, so one rule covers a season for all the coming years, even across the new year (1 December to 30 April).
For an offer priced per night, the rules are applied night by night: a stay over two seasons is billed at the rate of each, and a fixed price is then a price per night. The conditions about the whole stay (persons, number of nights) keep the value of the stay.
Promo codes
A promo code gives a discount (in % or a fixed amount) to the visitor who types it. You can limit it: validity dates, number of uses, minimum amount, the offers concerned. A code is only used up when a booking is really made, never when the visitor just looks at a price.
Rules and codes can be edited and duplicated; a copy is inactive until you activate it, so it never applies twice by accident.
