Overview
A second way to sell physical merch: connect your Printful account with its Private Token, then import the products already set up there (t-shirts, posters, mugs…) in one click. Each order is made and shipped directly by Printful.
What visitors see
On the Shop card, the choices are folded by default behind a button that shows the current choice (for example “Army · M”). A click on it, or the Enter or Space key, unfolds them: a product with several colours shows one thumbnail per colour, using the real image Printful generated for that variant, then a list of sizes. They fold again by themselves when you click elsewhere, press Escape, or unfold another card. Choosing a colour changes the card image and the price; a size that does not exist in the chosen colour is greyed out. The choice also works with the keyboard. When the variant names do not allow telling the colour from the size, the card keeps a single list of variants instead.
Default variant
On the product screen, the “Default variant” setting chooses the variant whose image, size and price the Shop card shows first. “Automatic (first variant)” uses the first variant. The choice is kept when you re-import the product.
After the import
Only the publish status, the description, the default variant and the price and SKU of each variant stay editable in VEFmusic. Everything else (variants, print files, images) stays driven by Printful and is refreshed with “Re-import from Printful” on the product screen. A re-import replaces the price and the SKU of each variant with the values from Printful, and keeps the publish status, the description and the default variant. A product imported before the colour thumbnails existed shows them after a re-import.
Delivery tracking
The “Delivery tracking webhook” section lets Printful tell the site about the status of an order as soon as it changes. An optional HMAC key adds a signature check to it.
