Band identity
Enter the band name, an optional tagline, the short bio, the logo, the press contact email and phone, and the social media links once: they are reused across the plugin, in particular by the press kit.
When no show is planned, the “Shows” blocks show a message with links to the social media you entered here.
Playback
- Default preview length (seconds) — the length of the preview of a track, for the whole site.
- Automatic playback of the next track — once a visitor has started a track, the next one starts by itself.
- Random Player: play automatically when the page loads — a single setting for every Random Player on the site. Browsers keep the sound muted until the visitor interacts with the page.
- Audio formats offered for sale — the formats a buyer can choose with VEFmusic Pro; keep MP3, it is the only format that plays everywhere.
Legal information
“Band status (legal information)”: tick “Professional status” to enter the legal name, address, business registration number and VAT. VEFmusic never uses them itself: they are only there to be reused by VEFmusic Pro (invoices, confirmation emails) if you install it.
At the bottom of the screen, a reminder of your obligations before playing music in public. The country is chosen from the language of the site: correct it if needed.
Data removal
“Delete all data on uninstall” is off by default: deleting the plugin then keeps your tracks, albums, shows and settings. Turn it on only if you want all of them, and the audio files on the server, permanently removed with the plugin — it cannot be undone. Deactivating the plugin never deletes anything.
